WELCOME TO MY DANCE SCHOOL

My name is Erika, I am a multiple dance champion in Latin-American and ballroom dances. I am also finalist in Show Dance European Championship.

With over two and a half decades of experience in the competitive dance arena, I am currently a dedicated dance instructor, having established my own dance school with multiple locations across Budapest. My expertise is diverse, encompassing services such as teaching wedding dances for couples, hosting lessons for hen and bachelor parties, and instructing various dance styles including ballroom, Latin-American dances, salsa, bachata, rock and roll, Charleston, Electro swing, and disco dance.

In 2016, I was honored with the title of Dance Teacher of the Year, an accolade determined by votes on the ‘Dance Selector’ page. Despite my teaching commitments, I remain an active competitor in Latin-American and show dance. Alongside my dance partner, Arpad Toth, we continue to achieve noteworthy results, maintaining a strong presence in the competitive world of dance.

As a wedding DJ, I meet many couples whom Erika helped with the choreography of the opening dance. My experience is that such couples are much more confident during the wedding party, since they already have some kind of dance skills.

Erika is a perfect blend of humor, professionalism, tolerance:), and understanding, combined with unique and vivid comparisons that help grasp nuances or highlight elements of dance. An amazing activity for anyone looking for fun and a break from their usual routine. Even during a short visit to Budapest, it's worth spending 2-3h doing something unconventional:)

Only with 2 classes, she helped us to learn all the moves for our perfect wedding dance. She is nice and friendly. She also speaks English.

My fiancé and I met Erika at a wedding exhibition, and we chose to learn with her in particular because she offered classes in fairly central locations, and she is able to teach in (good) English as well.

We started by attending some of Erika's evening group sessions, which was a nice way to learn some of the basic steps for a few different dancing styles (cha-cha-cha, waltz, rock & roll etc). So if you're not sure what style of dance you'd like to do for your wedding, this may be helpful.

You don't even need to watch Erika dance to know how good she is - the huge collection of trophies says it all. This transfers well into her teaching, she keeps a very positive attitude with everyone and is always ready to explain/demonstrate things if you're a bit lost

Overall we were quite happy with our experience and we can recommend Erika if you are looking for a very nice, energetic and professional teacher with whom it is great fun to learn dancing!
